Ishaq Oloyede, the Registrar
of the Joint Admissions and
Matriculation Board (JAMB),
has confirmed that
interested applicants can still
register for the ongoing
Unified Tertiary Matriculation
Oloyede made this statement during his visit to a CBT
centre in Lagos .
He said he got a mandate from the Senate few
weeks ago to increase the UTME registration period by
one month, which would lapse on May 28 when the
board will finally close its registration portal.
“As I speak, we have registered additional 1,100
candidates,” he said.
Recall that Oloyede had said that out of the 1,648,429
candidates writing the ongoing UTME, the results of
1,048,914 have been released.
